What is the cost to use the Ideal Social Hall?

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation of function space on a date less than 10 months prior to the date of event will be subject to a cancellation fee equaling the deposit. No money will be refunded or rental rights granted less than 6 months prior to your event.
How do I book an event at Ideal Social Hall?
Once you establish a date, you will be provided with a formal contract that outlines the description of your event, times of rental and deposit schedules. Your event date will be held for one week while you review, sign and return the contract along with your security deposit. Once your signed contract and deposit have been received, your event date will be guaranteed.
What options do I have for catering my event?
The Ideal Social Hall allows you the freedom to select whatever food will best compliment your event. The space includes a small food staging area, with tables and a sink. You and your guests are welcome to bring in your own food including homemade items if you would like. Please note Ideal does not provide plates, napkins, flatware or wait staff.
What time can my event start and end?
Access to Ideal Social Hall for your reservation can begin at 8am and must end by 12:00 Midnight. An earlier start time may be available upon request. Events running past Midnight will incur a $100/hour additional fee.
What A/V equipment and services are available?
Ideal Social Hall is set up with easy to use audio and video equipment ranging from complimentary wireless internet to a 14’ Projector and 55” TV. Content can be displayed using AirPlay, Google Chrome Cast, DVD player or an HDMI cord connected to your computer. Audio equipment includes: Surround Sound, 2 Microphones with Stands, 1 Wireless Microphone and 1 Headset Microphone. All of our audiovisual equipment is included for no extra charge.
How are the tables arranged in the space?
You have many options for how the room is set up. We have 5 foot round tables or 8 foot rectangular tables available as part of rental fee. View available table layouts here. Table and chair set up according to requested lay out is included in room rental.
Does the Ideal Social Hall have any outdoor space?
Your rental includes a seasonal outdoor space at no additional cost. Tent rental is available in different size and color options. Additional information available upon request.
Is the space temperature controlled?
Yes! The space is well insulated and has heating and air conditioning.
Where can my guests park?
On street parking is readily available near Ideal Social Hall.
Is the Ideal Social Hall handicapped accessible?
Yes, the facility is located on 1 level with accessible restrooms and entrances.
Are there decorating or celebration restrictions?
Glitter, confetti and open flames are not permitted. You may have candles on the tables as long as the flame is contained and does not extend above the rim of the container (i.e. in a hurricane, votive, etc.). Any décor hung on the walls must use painters tape of Command hooks that do not remove paint. Repainting walls will be a fee removed from the security deposit. Sparklers are permitted in the outside area. If a fine is assessed to the client or to Ideal for improper use of fireworks or sparklers, the client will be responsible for paying all fines in full (including those assessed to Ideal). Bubbles are permitted, however inside they can provide a slipping hazard so we prefer they be kept outside as much as possible. We do not allow confetti, rice, fake flower petals, hay or glitter anywhere on the property.
Is there a music or noise restriction?
Outside music must end by 10pm in accordance with the city noise ordinance.
What bar options are available for my event?
You can elect to have an open bar, a limited offering of wine and beer, or a cash bar. We customize each bar package to meet your needs and budget. All bartenders are Ideal Social Hall staff and will work to make your day carefree. Corking fee of $15 per bottle charged on specialty items brought in.
May I host my wedding ceremony on-site at Ideal Social Hall?
As having a ceremony and reception take place in the same space creates ease for guests and cohesiveness for your event, we are happy to work with you to provide ceremony options.
Do you have small rooms available to rent?
Not at Ideal, but 2 blocks down at 3rd Street & 12th Ave is Parlor City with no fee reservations available for events. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
